October 16th - Unit 2 Math Test (this test will cover counting patterns in the hundreds, comparing numbers using <, >, =, ordering numbers from least to greatest, rounding numbers, place value in the hundreds, standard form, expanded form, picture form, and word form for numbers in the hundreds)
October 23rd - Habitats Test

Reading: We will learn strategies to figure out the author's message and how the whole book clicks together.
· Writing: We will work on editing (capitalization, punctuation, adding detail, beginning, middle, and end, and complete sentences).

· Math: We finish Unit 2 on Number Sense in the Hundreds, and move on to learning computation and estimation (basic addition/subtraction strategies).
