The NED Show Returns and Spirit Week on Oct. 21!
The NED Show will be featured at our
Den Rally on Oct. 18! The NED Show supports kindness, helps students stand up
against bullying, and send a message of doing what's right. We're exicted to
have The NED show join us! The NED Show is free for the school -- but sells
hand crafted items to offset costs. Check out the order form sent home. These items will
be on sale on Monday - Friday Oct. 21 before school.
Check out Spirit Week to stand up
against bullying and promote acceptance of all people no matter their background,
abilities, or any differences. Get your spirit ready!
Bullying Prevention Spirit Week: October 21st-25th
Let’s work together to keep PNB Bully Free! Show your spirit and support by participating in Bullying Prevention Spirit Week.
Monday: “We Are All Tied Together”
Wear a bow, bowtie, or tie to show PNB students are tied
together and support one another!
Tuesday: “Take a Walk in Someone Else’s Shoes”
Wear two different shoes to show compassion for
someone else’s situation.
Wednesday: “National Unity Day”
Wear orange to show Pinebrook is UNITED for kindness,
acceptance, and inclusion.
Thursday: “Team Up”
Show we can all work together as a team to prevent
bullying by wearing your favorite sports team attire.
Friday: “Superhero Day”
Let all students know you are a superhero in the effort to
stop bullying! You are an upstander and practice Stop,

* Reading: We will learn strategies to solve unknown words, and identify the main ideas and supporting details in stories.
* Writing: We will start a new unit on writing like a scientist. We will continue to focus on capitalization and punctuation, and beginning, middle, end.

* Science: We will finish our new unit on Habitats.
* Health - We will learn about fire safety.
