Synchronous (live google meet) Specials: Music, PE, Art, Guidance

Native American Project: 

Will be assigned in Seesaw On Friday, Nov. 13th. Will be DUE on Tuesday, Nov. 24th.

We will be learning about the Powhatan, Pueblo, and Lakota tribes in class. Students will be asked to choose one of those tribes to complete the Seesaw activity. We will discuss this more with students next week in class.

Study Guides Button on Schoology

I have added a button to my Schoology page that will contain all the Science and Social Studies study guides for each unit that we will cover. If your child needs some extra guidance and review on a subject we covered in class please use the study guides!

New Grading Policy in Seesaw

This quarter students will have the opportunity to receive a 4 on most Seesaw assignments. The level 4 questions are to promote higher level thinking and need to be completed independently! This will give them a change to earn an "Exceeds" on their report card in that area.

Reading Groups

Please make sure your child is logging in during their assigned reading group day and time! I had a lot of NO SHOWS this week. I use reading group notes/information to help with each student's reading grade at the end of the quarter. 

Turkey of the Year

This morning during our morning meeting time I let the students fill out the google form for how many hours they read and they were able to vote for Turkey of the Year this week. If your child didn't know the number of hours or didn't fill it out, the link to vote is below!
